What Should You Expect On Your First Visit With Us?

Visiting a chiropractor for the first time can feel a little intimidating, but my goal is to make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. My office is warm, relaxed, and welcoming - a place where you can take a deep breath and know that you're being heard. As a chiropractor with over 30 years of experience, I've learned that one of the most important parts of helping people feel better is taking the time to listen.

During your first visit, we'll sit down and talk about what's been bothering you, how it's affecting your daily life, and what you'd like to achieve through care. I'll perform a thorough examination, answer any questions you may have, and explain my findings in a way that makes sense.

Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs and goals. Whether you're dealing with back pain, headaches, an injury, or simply want to move and feel better, you'll receive the kind of one-on-one attention and compassionate care that has been the foundation of my practice for three decades.

Spinal X-rays may be taken depending on your age, and situation. There are many reasons why we would not take x-rays on certain patients including pregnancy, most children, recent usable spinal x-rays and some other various situations. Aside from these situations, x-rays are a common part of the examination process when looking for vertebral subluxations. X-rays give us important information including the position of the spinal bones, and the quality of the spine and safety of adjusting it. X-rays also tell us the relative length of time subluxations may have been involved in your spine. Commonly, most patients receive three spinal x-rays at the beginning of care.

With this important information we can make a more accurate determination of the type of adjustments your spine needs as well as the ongoing frequency of your care. Your x-rays will be explained to you and covered in detail during your first visit. As soon as we review your X-rays, you will have the option to be adjusted that day, or if you need time to think about your care we can schedule your first adjustment at your convenience.
